As an adult, your smile is still prone to dental issues, like tooth decay and gum disease. To help you avoid these problems at all costs, our Orthodontics, Inc. team recommends doing the following things on a regular basis:

· Keep up on oral hygiene: Oral hygiene is extremely important when it comes to smile care. So, make sure you brush your teeth twice a day, floss your smile once a day, and rinse your mouth with mouthwash daily. These things will help you remove the plaque and other harmful substances from your smile each day.

· Have a balanced diet: Eating healthy foods each day will keep your chompers in tip-top shape. We recommend eating fruits, vegetables, whole grains, turkey, chicken, fish, and low-fat dairy products as much as possible.

· Visit your dentist: Visiting your dentist will help you completely prevent gum disease, so it’s best to come to our office for a dental cleaning and exam every six months. Each time you come in, your smile will be professionally cleaned and examined.
